He wasn't mine

Leisha Arya wistful whispers

We were never written in the same chapter of fate.

I remember when I met you,
When I saw you for the first time.
There was no love at first sight,
It was a gradual climb.

Although you were never mine,
But I wished we could be more.
It seems you'll come back,
And I can't stop ruminating about it.

We were never written,
In the same chapter of fate.
We were never meant to hold hands,
Beneath the same sky.

Your laughter wrapped me,
Like a blanket so cozy.
Your presence is a rhythm,
That I hum all the time.

I was never yours,
You were never mine,
Yet in the spaces between what wasn't,
It truly felt, that it's mine.
